Coming to the venue in a Large Group?

You may arrive as a group of skaters to our public roller discos, at the normal entry price per person. We would recommend no more than 10 people to a party.

Important!

Please ensure you have your whole group gathered before leaving the main reception area of the building and proceeding any further.

Our skating venues are not suitable for party food or picnics as there is not enough room in the halls. We please ask that you organise any food consumption before or after the skating and not during. Thank You.

Lines of water bottles are acceptable and a good idea as skating is such a physical activity.

If you let us know shoe sizes of skates in advance via the contact form then we will endeavour to fast track them, and this also reserves any skates you may require.

No pre-booking is required.

Only wrist guards are available at this venue. Please bring your own pads and protection.

The Arena is the size of 10 badminton courts, with a wooden floor. This is our flagship event, attended by people from all around who love the floor!

You will find us in Arena A & B on the same level as the ice rink, swimming pool and bowling alley.

Speed Skating rules & guidance

Please note: Adult speed skating is permitted only if skaters use their own skates.  Hire skates are not allowed to be used for adult speed skating. 
  1. No hire skates.
  2. Fastest on the outside, slowest on the inside.
  3. Always leave a gap between you and the wall / barrier for someone faster.
  4. If you need a rest pull in to the middle not the outside, as someone faster will be overtaking
  5. No weaving.
  6. Seriously, please read rules 1-5 again!

Do's and Don'ts

*** For safety reasons, no 'floor walkers', i.e. not wearing skates, after 7pm allowed ***

Water bottles are acceptable, but are not to be held whilst skating around the floor.

Skating is a very sweaty activity!  We recommend that denim or woolly tights are not worn.

Venue management have banned skates outside of the hall, even to go to the toilet!!
